The prevailing “yes” here is troublesome to me. 89,000 votes.
Belief: (noun) 1. a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing. 2. something believed; especially : a tenet or body of tenets held by a group 3. conviction of the truth of some statement or the reality of some being or phenomenon especially when based on examination of evidence
honestly, those 89,000 people are just doing what comes naturally to them. believing. AND HONESTLY PEOPLE, these polls on Facebook are wack and made for people like the blurred above to troll. they serve no other purpose.
Theists (in this narrative: almost invariably meaning Christians) and Atheists should be thankful for each other. Without the other, many individuals in both groups wouldn’t be able to argue and reinforce the shared delusion that the problem of the human creature hinges on a single, binary question. So many people concerned with being Right.
Such a bland question they both ask. I have a better one.
“Now what?”
Try it out, and you can start laughing with those of us who are perfectly comfortable with being wrong.
Let me be perfectly clear: I said nothing in regards to belief, being right, or answering the question of humanity’s existence. I cannot and have never claimed to answer that question.
I find it troubling that “yes” is winning. I don’t mind that people find comfort in religion. What I mind is the unbalance of “yes” and “no” and the fact that wars have been waged and millions of lives lost because of such a strong belief in a god.
This will be the last screencap I post from facebook because I’m not trying to portray myself as a monster and I don’t want two of my best friends to think I’m a dirty atheist.
Oh my didn’t see you there, Asher. I was talking over you rather than talking to you. You could be quite dirty, and I’d be completely alright with that. I’m too busy laughing at everyone including myself. Holi Schtick!
Jerry: What, what, what’s wrong with you?
Kramer: Sand, I can get rid of the sand. (Looking down his shirt) Look there is still some in here, it won’t go away! Look I even got sand in the pockets!the sand!

Typical American Regrets of the Day: A recent study conducted by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management professor of marketing Neal Roese and Mike Morrison of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign asked 370 adults to describe their most memorable regret in detail.
“Romance” reigned supreme as Americans’ chief regret, with 44% of women reporting a romance-oriented regret versus 19% of men responding similarly. Furthermore, individuals who were not involved were most likely to respond with a romantic regret.
“We found that one’s life circumstances, such as accomplishments or shortcomings, inject considerable fuel into the fires of regret,” Roese is quoted as saying. “Although regret is painful, it is an essential component of the human experience.”

So we blame/regret almost everything else before we blame our “self”? Sounds about right.

Naurdwar Cought Up With Tyler And Hodgy At SXSW
By far one of the best Nardwuar interviews ever. Bukkake!
True, but some people are willing to ignore this to stroke their egos. It’s like eating pizza and doughnuts and drinking beer for an extended meal that lasts several hours (what I did last night). Not good for the tummy or the health, but tasty in the process.
